Nebraska Keno Spot Robbed At Gunpoint
A local bar and Keno gambling spot in Nebraska was robbed this week after two men entered the premises and drew their gun. Two employees and three customers were inside Bellevue Keno when it was robbed but no one was hurt. The employees at the store were running the last Keno game of the night and closing up when the robbers entered.According to the police report two black males entered Bellevue Keno and pointed a handgun at a waitress and demanded she give them money. After getting the money the robbers ran away dropping money as they ran. They escaped by running near a Salvation Army where a vehicle was waiting to take them away.
The owner, John Hassett, commented that the robbers got away with money from the Keno counter as well as the bar register. The amount stolen was not disclosed. Hassett then stated that he had a meeting with his employees to remind them that this was the typical time of year for businesses to be robbed and for them to be careful.
