One lucky Territorian man learned he was a millionaire this week after a good friend called and let him know. The man did not know he had won because he was babysitting his grandchildren. Luckily a friend was watching and called him up to say he had won the large keno prize.

The lucky man thought his friend was joking with him so he decided to call the SkyCity casino to check his numbers. His friend was not joking and the lucky man became the second million dollar Keno winner in just one month’s time.

The lucky man won $1700 on a 6-spot game and then before he left the casino he bought his usual numbers in a 10-spot and left before the game took place. He ended up winning $1,049,206.70. The other winner was a grandmother from Tennant Creek who won $2,044,407 while playing keno.

I’m sure the casinos will now be very busy with keno players after these two lucky players have taken down such large jackpots. It will be interesting to see how long it is before the next lucky keno winner is named.
