A man from Australia recently won $1.59 million by playing Keno. The man joined the Surfers Paradise RSL Memorial Club Saturday Night and won the large jackpot just after joining. The man won by using the same numbers he had used for the past eight years.

The man said his numbers had “dried up” but on Saturday they were ready to win. After winning, the man, who wishes to remain anonymous, left the club through the back door. He wanted to think over his win and really realize that he had just won the large jackpot.

The man returned to the Club to claim his money the following morning. The man stated: “I needed time to digest what had happened. I said to my sister ‘I think I’ve won this’ and we both lost our appetites when we watched the final numbers come up. I didn’t want a fuss, so I took the lift to the ground floor, double checked my ticket and left.”

The man also stated that he does not think he will truly believe that he won the jackpot until the money is in his bank account. The man has not stated how he will spend his winnings. Surfers Paradise RSL, where the man won the large jackpot, is located in the heart of Surfers Paradise in Australia. The Club has a modern game room with seventy gaming machines with promotions on specific days. The Club is likely to be very busy in the coming weeks as others will want to try and win a large jackpot as well.
