With the current state of the economy it seems that every type of business is slowing down. Most businesses are having to lay people off, cut hours or close completely. Ironically one business that is doing very well despite the bad economy is lotteries. In the state of Ohio the game of keno is doing very well. Gas stations in the area are also seeing high sales of tickets. Though nearby casinos have seen a decrease in profits of fifteen percent from just a year ago. It seems people are playing keno and buying lottery tickets because it can be a one time transaction and they may win a good deal of money. With the casino you go in and may gamble for hours and lose a good deal without any gain. For those who want to take the risk it seems for now with the slow economy that keno and the lottery are the way to go.
