Most people feel they are safe at any time unless maybe you are in a dark parking lot or walking down a deserted street. At that point you may begin to feel as though you could be robbed or accosted so you may begin to walk a little faster. It does not seem that one should begin to worry if they are playing keno in a Keno room or in the safety of a hotel.

One couple found out the hard way that apparently nowhere is 100% safe. A man and woman were playing keno in the Keno Room of the Embassy Suites in Charleston, West Virginia when two men approached them. It was around eleven pm and the men asked the pair if they had ever been robbed.

The pair thought the two men were joking and they said no. The two men then said: “you’re being robbed” and then demanded money from the victims. One of the robbers took out a gun and chambered a round. The two men eventually got away with one wallet.

The police are currently conducting an investigation and hopefully the perpetrators will be apprehended soon. It would be a shame if they managed to hit the same Keno room again before they are caught.
