Keno Player Almost Loses Lottery Fortune
Jamie Davis of Baltimore enjoys playing Keno and scratch off lottery tickets. They are his favorite games and he plays them often, though he has never won much money. This week however Jamie’s luck would change.

Jamie purchased eight Maryland Lottery Blackout Bingo tickets this past Wednesday and after scratching those off he did not think he had won so he threw the tickets away at the store. The clerk stopped Jamie and said maybe you should check them first. So Jamie removed the tickets from the trash and had the clerk scan them.

One of the tickets turned out to be worth $30,000. Jamie told officials that when he doesn’t think they are winners he just throws them out. He stated he cannot imagine how many other winning tickets he may have thrown away in the past.

Jamie says he plans to use the money to pay off his motorcycle and put the rest in the bank. But I wouldn’t be too surprised if he used some of the money to buy more Keno and scratch off tickets.

This instance just goes to show that you should always recheck your tickets. You never know, you might be the next big winner.
