The citizens of Ohio have only been able to play Keno for two days since opening on August 4th but there have already been big winner. There was one lucky winner that cashed in a Keno ticket on Monday for $1,100 dollars and became the biggest winner on the game's opening day across the state.

On the first day Keno was available to play the commission announces that gamblers placed bets of $256,932 dollars and a total of $42,344 dollars in winning wagers equaling $163,474 dollars in prizes. This is from almost 720 Keno terminals that opened for business across the state.

With the opening the commission logged over fifty calls from retailers that had trouble getting their machines online. This was still pretty good considering how many got started. The lottery says that the first day payout of 63.6 percent was in line with what Keno was expected to pay on any given day.

Keno officially got under way on August 4th when tickets went on sale at 6am and the first drawing took place at 11am. The state plans to add more terminals and have 2,000 Keno terminals online by December.
