Officials of the Detroit Metro Airport announced this past Tuesday that they are planning on adding Club Keno terminals as well as lottery options to the Metro Airport. Travelers will be able to play the games as they wait on their flights to pass the time.

The Keno games are going to be added to try and increase revenues for the airport as well as the state. Both have been struggling to make cuts to their budgets to help with revenue shortfalls. The new plan will see twenty one or twenty Keno and lottery machines added to the inside of the airport and it should bring in $300,000 annually for the airport and $5 million to $10 for the state, according to projections.

The exact time of installation has not been decided as of yet. Officials are still trying to determine where to place the keno and lottery machines in the airport. Once the placement is decided then officials should move to install the machines.
