Keno Winner a Mystery in GympieLast Saturday night a lucky person won $25,000 while playing Keno at Billy’s in Gympie. However this lucky person does not know they have won. Conflicting stories have arisen stating the even though no one knows that the person has won it is illegal to announce a winner was found at a certain location, this is according to the people at Jupiters Keno. However government officials state it is ok to announce a winner. (24/07)
Atlantic Lottery Corporation Planning New Campaign for Electronic Keno
Electronic keno games on Prince Edward Island have experienced lower sales and because of this the Atlantic Lottery Corporation is planning a new campaign to market the game. The hope is that with a new marketing campaign, sales will increase for the game of keno on the Island. (22/07)
Winning Keno Ticket Remains Unclaimed
One lucky player won $50,000 last year while playing the Daily Keno game in Southwestern Ontario. However that lucky player did not know they won the large prize and time is running out to claim it. The fiscal year for lottery games ended on June 30th and Ohio sales are up. Officials say that the introduction of Keno to the state helped sales go up and they have come close to a record year in lottery sales. (02/07)
