Keno has not done as well as expected but has been called a moderate success. Officials hope the parties will help people learn how to play the game and keep players interested. (26/02)
Gambling Addiction Expert Says Keno Addition in Canada could lead to Addiction
The Atlantic Lottery Corporation is planning to add electronic keno to two hundred bars and restaurants in Prince Edward Island and Nova Scotia in March. Elizabeth Stephen, a gambling addiction councilor, has stated that she believes the low risk betting game has a danger of becoming a high risk for addictiveness. (23/02)

The economy has affected everyone in every type of business. Reports are constantly coming out that businesses are closing due to the rough economy. In the gambling industry the casinos have been hit hard. Tribal casinos have been affected as well. Keno Ticket Sales High Despite Bad Economy
With the current state of the economy it seems that every type of business is slowing down. Most businesses are having to lay people off, cut hours or close completely. Ironically one business that is doing very well despite the bad economy is lotteries. In the state of Ohio the game of keno is doing very well.
